What Nisha Kumari Says about challenges faced during the journey
Me and my coach Mr. Nilesh Barot sir have faced a lot of problems in our cycling expedition from India to London. Many problems for getting permit for China and it’s very costly as well as tough to get road permit. After getting road permit and visa when we have done all process for custom and immegration they saw the map on our vehicle and said that arunachal and ladakh is there how we can show in our map and canceled our visa. After they removed map from the vehicle and took our car, cycle and luggage in China border and pushed us back to Nepal. Then we put our full efforts and take another visa but it’s very difficult to get.
After this when we entered in China lot of weather difficulty, snow wind temperature till -10°C. Very long routs with lots of checking at every 50km around. Lots of hills, high altitude crossed the height of 5500m. We are not allowed to choose the hotel by ourselves they tell us in which hotel we stay and they check at night and collect our visa and passport every night and give back next morning.
Guide is compulsory in China but they changed 4 Guide with us.
At the time of exit also it’s difficult as they didn’t give us the exit pass at the time of entry and also passes a new rule regarding entry and exit.
My cycling expedition delayed by 2 months because of this.
Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan I faced weather challenges.
Food is the biggest challenge for me in this Expedition starting from China and until when I don’t know because we are pure vegetarian don’t even take eggs.
But my mission “CHANGE BEFORE CLIMATE CHANGES” is my priority and I am doing tree plantation as much as possible at every place and also aware people regarding tree plantation.
